Membangun Wawasan Global Melalui Pengenalan Peluang Studi Luar Negeri untuk Siswa Menengah Atas

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan global siswa melalui edukasi peluang studi luar negeri yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 September 2025 di SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih terbatasnya akses informasi yang komprehensif mengenai sistem pendidikan internasional, jalur masuk perguruan tinggi luar negeri, serta peluang pembiayaan studi bagi siswa sekolah menengah di Indonesia. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pemaparan materi secara sistematis, penyampaian studi kasus keberhasilan alumni, simulasi proses aplikasi, serta sesi diskusi interaktif. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup sistem pendidikan tinggi di Inggris dan Australia, jalur penerimaan seperti direct entry, foundation, diploma, dan International Year One, persyaratan dokumen, penggunaan platform aplikasi seperti UCAS, serta peluang beasiswa baik parsial maupun penuh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap peluang studi luar negeri, baik dari aspek akademik, administratif, maupun kesiapan personal, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor pemahaman pada berbagai materi dari rentang 30–52 menjadi 78–92. Siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan minat dan niat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke luar negeri, yang tercermin dari partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung serta kenaikan skor motivasi dan intensi dari rentang 2,84–3,20 menjadi 4,25–4,45. Selain itu, siswa memperoleh pemahaman mengenai tantangan adaptasi sosial dan budaya, termasuk aspek religius dan kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai mahasiswa internasional. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam membentuk kesiapan global siswa serta mendorong mereka untuk merancang perencanaan pendidikan jangka panjang secara lebih strategis.
