Peer Review Process
Journal Ilmu Komputer dan Sistem Informasi implements that each manuscript received will go through a review process by the Editor and Reviewer, using the Double Blind Peer-Review Process, where the Reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewer.
Review Process:
-
-
- The article must be written according to the specified writing guidelines.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to use software such as Mendeley to manage references (citations and bibliography).
- Before being reviewed, the editor will perform a plagiarism check using Turnitin software, with a similarity threshold of 25%. If the similarity exceeds this limit, the article will be returned for revision.
- Article submissions are made through this website. Authors are required to have an account to submit articles. If the author does not have an account, they can register through the "Register" menu. When filling out the registration form, make sure to select the role of "Author." After creating an account, the author can log in, click "New Submission," and follow the step-by-step instructions. It is important to note that the article must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx) with a maximum size of 2 MB.
- All manuscripts are reviewed by peer reviewers (mitra bestari) appointed by the editor according to their area of expertise. The decision to accept or reject a manuscript will be communicated in writing via email. The review process typically takes around 1 - 2 months. There are three possible outcomes of the review: accepted, revision required, or rejected. If revisions are needed, the author will have two weeks to make the necessary corrections based on the reviewers' and editors' recommendations.
