Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of digital transparency in government administration, particularly through the use of the Portal Analisis Data Berbasis Peta (PANADA) application in Manado City. The research problem focuses on how much usability influences digital transparency of the Manado City Government. The objective of this study is to determine the extent of the effect of usability on digital transparency as perceived by the public as application users.

This research employs a quantitative approach with data collected through online questionnaires distributed to residents of Manado City who have used the PANADA application. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling, involving 88 respondents divided into new and experienced users. Data analysis was conducted using a non-parametric statistical method, namely Spearman Rank Correlation, with the assistance of SPSS software.

The results of the study indicate that the Spearman correlation test produced a correlation coefficient of 0.264 with a significance value of 0.013, demonstrating that the usability variable has a positive relationship with digital transparency, where improvements in usability also contribute to enhancing digital transparency. Therefore, improving usability remains necessary to optimally support the effectiveness of digital transparency.
